The site was designed for best-selling author and popular lecturer Rachel Simmons, author of (New York Times Best Selling) Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls and Odd Girl Speaks Out: Girls Write About Bullies, Cliques, Popularity and Jealousy.

The site was developed to publicise Rachel's speaking engagements and Girl's Camp; and solicit submissions for her second book, Odd Girl Speaks Out.
